Jake Garcia Baseball Journalist with Co-host Jessica Jensen Sports Footwear

Jacob (Jake) is a sports journalist, founder and senior staff writer for BestCoastBaseball.com. Jake has covered west coast baseball for three years. For a good majority of that time, he was writing at Mariners360 and GetReal Baseball. When he isn't writing articles, he can be found at any given MiLB or NCAA/NWAACC ballpark in the Pacific Northwest, or watching his fantasy baseball team lose. Again.

What you would never know is that Jake is a high school senior and spent the first 7 years of his life growing up in the hospital.  Now he wears oxygen all the time due to his lung disease, had secondary major depression and social anxiety from the years of illness.  Yet he's articulate, funny, creating a solid baseball online publication and succeeding beyond most measures.  A real inspiration.

Co-hosting again during sports week is Jessica Jensen As someone who is passionate about preserving foot health, Jessica would like to implement a standardized system where athletes are measured for footwear, and taught to select footwear based on their unique foot shape. Full time crusader, educator, and baseball fan;Jessica wants everyone to receive the benefits of a footwear system that has been engineered by the people who know what feels best on their feet.

If you know nothing about the sport of baseball- Gail asks the questions others are afraid to:  the difference between front of house and field manager, building a team with constant trading, college versus minor leagues.  Together, the three of us find ways that baseball can bring back fans in a real way.
