For over 30 years Christopher Burgess worked in the Central Intelligence Agency from file clerk to top leadership as Chief of Station (COS) who is the seniormost intelligence officer in the designated area of responsibility for the Director of the CIA and the National Intelligence Director. His work focused on counterintelligence, counterterrorism and many other areas of national interest.  Upon his retirement he was awarded the Career Distinguished Intelligence Medal.
 
He moved into the private sector with Cisco, a tech start-up, and now is Founder of Prevendra.  At Prevendra, he uses his security and leadership acumen with new technologies to help people in today's real security threats and needs including HIPAA, Senior Safety, Cyber Security and of course National Intelligence. His many specialties include health, aging and social media.

He co-authored Secrets Stolen, Fortunes Lost: Preventing Intellectual Property Theft and Economic Espionage in the 21st Century.  

Burgess is featured worldwide including BBC World Service News, CNBC, Forbes, AARP, Fox Business, Bloomberg and Brazil's Ultimo Segundo. He writes for the Huffington Post English and Spanish editions. 

He brings personal passion to issues such as bullying, human trafficking, and as an advisor to Love our Children.
