Received your message. Please keep up the great reporting on Lyme Disease. I am very familiar with this because I was undiagnosed for 12 years; finally diagnosed in 2002. In addition to the Lyme, I have Bartonella and Ehrlichiosis. Since 2002 I have devoted my time and efforts to learning as much as possible about tick borne diseases. Your invitation is quite a compliment; however, I am technically challenged and with the Lyme impairment it may be impossible for me to participate. I would love to share my story with you. It is extremely intimidating having heard the expert testimony of the esteemed individuals that took part on your program. I hope you understand. One other thing that should be mentioned is that during the 12 years that I was undiagnosed, I was a blood donor. There is NO screening test for our blood supply (not to mention for our own diagnosis). Currently I belong to Delaware Lyme Support and continue to advocate regarding this silent epidemic.
