Lois Howes Stops by FreshStart Radio to Talk about Rebuilding after Sandy

Lois Howes is an enthusiastic travel agent, the 1st VP of her local Chamber of Commerce, and a dedcated contributor to the re-build following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy as 1st VP of Friends of Freeport.

Beginning 25 OCT and hitting the Eastern Seaboard 29 OCT, 2012, Hurricane Sandy, a Category 3, was the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 hurricane season.  Crossing the Carribean, leaving a trail across Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas, Sandy affected 24 states with its most deadly impact on New Jersey and New York.

Lois Howes was right in the thick of it, leading the charge - organizing and helping in any way possible. 14 months later, we'll chat about the experience, how it changed her life, and the ongoing needs following Hurricane Sandy.

There is still much to do...
