Sub Topic: The distinction between the Nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Discussion: What is a gift?  It is a present, something given in appreciation. God has given us many gifts throughout time, both spiritual and natural.  Today, we are going to discuss the nine gifts of the spirit, given for the edification of the church and to strengthen the body of Christ found in Paul’s writing to the church in Corinth. Scripture Text: 1 Corinthians 12:1  Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
