Learn about Freelance Camp Pro June 5th in San Francisco


Join Freelancer Forum this Friday at 11 am (pacific) as we learn all about Freelance Camp Pro and the movement that is sweeping the nation. Freelance Camp is a place to discuss and explore the different approaches to running a successful freelance business / service company. They base their events on the Barcamp format, which is a network of user generated participatory events whose content is fully provided by the participants. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join. Some of the events are free (thanks to sponsors) while other charge a token fee to help cover overhead. Each camp is run by a local team of volunteers and is put on for the benefit of the community (not profit). About Jeremy: Jeremy Neuner is the Co-Founder and CEO of NextSpace Coworking + Innovation, Inc.  NextSpace is the workplace for the new economy.  NextSpace provides innovative physical and virtual infrastructure that freelancers, entrepreneurs, and creative class professionals need to succeed in the 21st century knowledge economy. About Rebecca: Rebecca Brian founded Tribecca Designs 3 months after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. She has been recognized as an industry expert in design, web development, and e-marketing, and has spoken on several panels on this topic. She is also the founder of Spark, a leading graphic design organization with over 200 members and chapters in New York, and San Francisco, devoted to the business of graphic design. Rebecca also founded Books that Build, a 501(c)3 non-profit that is committed to all children reading by 2020.





About Shane: Shane Pearlman has built himself a reputation for extracting the concrete from the abstract to drive tangible results. He is passionate about building teams and solving problems, drawing upon years in education, web technology, blogging and business. He is once of the founders of Freelance Camp and is currently the CEO of a company that coordinated a community of independent contractors and mediates their services to Fortune 500 companies and Government agencies.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT FREELANCE CAMP PRO:

Theday will start at 8am with an hour of socializing over coffee andpastries. We will be handing out cool swag to registrants at the signup. It is really important you arrive by 9am so you can participate increating the day’s agenda. At 9am sharp we will begin introductions,explain the rules of barcamp and then we will create a schedule. Wewill be harvesting the minds and expertise of all the people in theroom to come up with topics pertinent to freelancers.
