Sandra Fect

Sandra was born in England immediately after World War II.  As with many young people of the 40’s both of her parents were in active duty.  On their last scheduled bombing run, her father’s Lancaster while descending for landing crashed near Chesham. Her father was the sole survivor.

The impact of war and particularly the crash had a big influence on her upbringing. The post traumatic  stress that she witnessed in her family was good training for later career in counselling.  From an early age, she wanted to help others.

The family emigrated to Canada in 1954. Her father was increasingly successful in business and as a result the they moved frequently. What this meant for her was no constant social reference group. This made her very independent in her thinking. She has an inner locus of control and does not depend on others to shape her opinions.

Travel, living near a First Nations community in the Northwest Territories, raising a family, and deep spiritual convictions have shaped the way Sandra does counseling. She is very open to hearing what the client has to say and adjusting the theories into the clients experience rather than fitting the client into the theoretical framework.

In creating a gentle methodology to help victims of repressed sexual abuse, Sandra stumbled across extreme ritual and Satanic abuse. For many years she considered the truth of the stories. Eventually she was convinced that these reported events were indeed happening.  It was paradigm shifting.

Some of the information in the program is not suitable for  young people.  Some of the information may seem too incredible to believe. However it is verified Biblically, in other cultures, through the reports of many clients, historically and through many other sources.
