This And That on Freedom Swings Saturday

 Usually we are open lines and open topic on a Saturday, but today's show is pre-recorded since I'm on vacation.  But that doesn't mean that it is boring!  I cover a hodge podge of items or what I call, this and that.  We talk about the founding of this nation with a focus on Sir Francis Bacon and The New Atlantis, which means we had to talk about the old Atlantis.  I play a couple of soundbites featuring Chris Pinto and his research.

We talk about government surveillance and the Fourth Amendment.  What is the Fourth Amendment and how has the government been able to subvert it?  A key answer is The Patriot Act, which we discuss as well.  We talk about how bad it was under Bush and how horrendous things are under the Manchurian Candidate Barack Obama.

And then we talk about the month of July and how there has been buzz around the internet that things are going to get bad in July. If there is not a big event in July that dramatically changes America for the worst, I will be naming names and calling out the bullshit artists!
