Edward Snowden is the NSA whistleblower that came forward and told The Guardian about the program that left American citizens under surveillance. The first thing to keep in mind is that we reported here a couple of weeks ago that this is not new. The Patriot Act has given the NSA the ability to spy on Americans since it was made law and they have. I played audio of two NSA whistleblowers from years ago. But focusing on the current situation, do you think Snowden is a hero or treasonous? Lt. Col. Ralph Peters thinks he is guilty of treason. I'll tell you what I think. It's been a hot debate and while it has raged, Snowden has gone missing.
That and the news of the day! Conservative libertarian irreverent commentary on the current events in news and politics with a whole lot of pulling back the curtain to reveal the "wizards" behind it all!
It's good to talk.
