This week on Freedom for All we take a peek into the whole Pink Ribbon, pink movement for breast awareness month. What does it mean really? What is all the pink about? Our guest activist and certified nutritionist Donna Pinto will offer her insight. In 2010, at age 44, Donna was diagnosed with DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ), which is considered a non-invasive, "stage zero” breast cancer or "pre-cancer.” Donna became an avid researcher and found healthier alternatives to the extremely drastic and aggressive “standard of care” treatments offered to her by multiple conventional medical doctors and oncologists. She is now a Certified Nutritionist, advocate and coach for "preventative" health and healing through non-toxic, holistic means and healthy lifestyle practices. She can be found on Facebook at "Donna's Choice: Global Healing" as well at her blog at DCIS411.com.
