Guest: Amy Wise

Jim and Jennifer welcome Amy Wise to the show.

Amy is an author, writer, blogger, editor and speaker.

She is the author of; “Believe in Yourself ~ Inspire Others ~ Spread Joy!” (2012) and “This is me…Coming Out of the Darkness” (forthcoming), for which she is also working on a movie.  Additionally, Amy is a contributing author in the anthologies; “Dancing at the Shame Prom” (2012) and “Oil and Water and Other Things That Don’t Mix” (2010).

She is the creator of “The Many Shades of Love” blog where she writes about the ups and downs of being in an interracial marriage and family, as well as a contributing writer for TheNextFamily.com online magazine. Along with her writing, Amy is an inspirational speaker for all types of events and groups. 

She is the co-founder/co-director, along with Jennifer Myers, of the non-profit: R.I.S.E. to Empower, Inc.  R.I.S.E. — reflect internally, share externally — is a program that empowers girls and young women to make positive choices.
