At 16 and one week Kellie Cottam left the foster care system with a seed in her heart to one day come back to revolutionise the social care system. She had a passion for those who so desperately needed and wanted change in their lives but didn't know where to turn to and were coming into a system for help from an organisation that was underfunded, under resourced, staff are over worked and under paid and those coming for empowerment where and 20 years later are still being pushed further into a pit. Going to college to study Law, Psychology and Business Kellie fell pregnant and started life as a teenage Mum and a Wife but has never left those who's heart bleeds and has always kept her eye on what society call the homeless, hopeless and broken. Coming from a disfunction family Kellie understands how paramount unconditional love, Faith, Family, Friendships and Freedom are to the people of this world and how adversary breaks down communication and destroys the heart and soul of us all. For the last 20 years Kellie has studied Psychology graduating from the University Of Central Lancashire, Personal Development, Trained as an Interventionist with Anthony Robbins and Studied many Faiths, Spiritual practises, Religions and Social Systems, Communities and Individual Behaviours. In 2010 Kellie went public bring the problems of the care and benefit system to light in the media, however the Daily Mail took a different approach twisting and distorting the truth and many interviews where edited to divide the country.
It's good to talk.
