Last week, Rand Paul made history by filerbusting the John Brennan approval hearing for 13 + hours. In an era where both sides seem to rubberstamp whatever the executive branch forwards (except a balanced budget) what Paul did was nothing short of revolutionary.
Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell and others from his party rallied to support his audacious effort, while John McCain, Lindsey Graham and other suits dined across town with the POTUS.
Paul has been criticized for his support for Mitt Romney and a potential conflict in Iran, leading the followers of his father to be wary of his political leanings and alliances, but the filerbuster changed all that, bringing Paul squarely back into their focus, while very quickly establishing him as a voice to be reckoned with on Capitol Hill.
Today, I'll get James Burns, a longtime Libertarian and voice of the Freedom Files take on the "Randpage."
