Prior to the passing of my good friend, The Captain, he and his wife, Kate forged a special bond with Alma Desnuda, a San Francisco based, multi-culti band that they often moved and grooved to during their courtship. Their music became a sort of soundtrack to their love affair. They were also the band that played at what would be The Capt's farewell party. He loved the band's music so much that he passed with his Alma Desnuda t-shirt and tennis sweats on.
The affinity was not a one-way-affair. Alma Desnuda was also moved by Captains and Kate's story. They had recently penned "Good To Die" around the time of his death are also going to do short film based on their relationship with on another.
Please join me as a I chat with Alma Desnuda drummer, Joe Glaser (a cancer survivor) as we learn more about this special connection and the conscious, Alma Desunda music and vibe.
