Most people with a basic knowledge of astrology are painfully aware of The Saturn Return. Saturn returns to where it was at the time of birth and it takes roughly 28 years to cycle back. That 2 1/2 year period, which also occurs around 56/57 is a critical phase for most people, but moreso in the late 20s. Saturn makes us stronger where we are weak and where we are strong, encourages us to build and work hard on our strengths. It's rarely an easy passage though as it gets us ready for the next phase of our lives, from the last vestiges of youth, to the portal of maturity. But there are people that never make it to 28 and in fact, 27 seems to be a key year in determining the astro selection of the species in some ways. Josh Hunter of Samadhi Productions has penned, "The 27s" a look at a number of famous and not-so-famous rock stars that have died before Saturn came a knocking. A quick look at he list of luminaries is pretty interesting. Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones, Robert Johnson and Kurt Cobain, all checked out at 27. We'll discuss the meaning of it all and the cultural impact the 27s have made on our world. I will also have Sigurgeir Bergsson on my show to give us a first hand account of the volcano as well as how Iceland is dealing with their debt and the Icesave debacle. Please join us.
