Fred Brito
United States, English
In 1977, he was honorably discharged U.S. Marine during Vietnam. With three hundred dollars in his pocket he ended up homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. Knowing then that no one was going to help him out of his situation, he crafted a bogus resume and for thirty-years he conned his way into some of the best CEO positions in America. And he did it with only a GED. He became a Psychiatrist appointed by the Superior Court Judge Bernard Katz of Los Angeles County Superior Court Criminal Division. He became the Conductor for a prestigious Symphony Orchestra without ever knowing a note on a sheet of music. And he became the advocate for lettuce picking migrant workers in the fields of Yuma Arizona as a new age Robin Hood - Catholic Priest Father Fred. In 1985, he became a City Commissioner in the City of Lancaster in Los Angeles County. Later he would become the head of the American Red Cross in California, The CEO of Loyola-Marymount University School of Law and The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. On a more comical side, Fred Brito became a scriptwriter for Johnny Carson and “The Tonight Show” hired by Producer Freddie De Cordova. He was hired as a Producer at Walt Disney Pictures by then Michael Eisner sidekick Jeffrey Katzenberg. He has also worked as a Producer for Dick Clark Productions and Warner Records. While there is much more to this true story, Fred Brito has not stopped achieving the impossible. Today, he is mysteriously applying for senior level positions at well-known Corporations. When he is actually given an offer letter, he gathers the Board of Directors together and reveals that they have just hired “The Great Pretender”. He is using his superior talents to unmask the vulnerabilities within Corporate America to prove that even today with all of the technology and protection devices possible, a real life con man can still penetrate the walls of the inner sanctum of Corporate America at its highest levels.
