Narration is use the use of a written or spoken commentary to convey a story to an audience. Narration encompasses a set of techniques through which you the author presents his/her story.
How does this apply to your work and do you ever have multiple narrators to illustrate your storylines of the many different characters at the same time, different times or allowing a more developed and complex non-singular point of view?n creating your novels narration also encompasses who tells the story and how the story is told: Do you use traditional literary narratives like novels, short stories or memories since narration is a required story element?Do you use unreliable narrative voice which involves the use of a dubious or untrustworthy narrator giving the audience or readers a deliberate sense of disbelief in the story or a level of suspicion or mystery as to what information is meant to be true or false?Which tense or tenses do you create your novel in and which of these literary elements do you find helps you create your story, setting and plot?Do you use a narrator to describe an event that is about to happen or do you just let it happen with dialogue? Do you use italics to define someone speaking?
Do you ever write a plot or novel told soley by one narrator and telling the story at different times but in this character’s voice?Do you use different characters with chapter headings telling which one is about to tell their story?
Which kind of narration defines you and why?
