So you have joined the Church and see a common bond and acceptance all because of Jesus. You meet different people as you get discipled and grow in your Christian walk. All of a sudden the people in the Church who you thought there was this inner connection with seem to be no different from anyone outside of the Church.Maybe because you could not be successful in a small group or continued in studying the Bible with others .Perhaps you did not follow the leaders or Pastor like the others and told them what they wanted to hear to gain acceptance .Now it is you the stranger in you own Church. The Body Of Christ. Yes , you are the outcast of the club that accepted you in the beginning but then shunned you as you possibly had enough of the "showmanship " of the brethren . There seems to be a great acting performance as you listen now more carefully to the conversations that you used to be part of .However you watch and see if the actions apprear genuine or are they phoney as each tries to prance around their love for one another. Is it real or just performance ? Is the light of Jesus flowing everyday or just Sunday mornings ?
