Those of you who have lived through yet another devastating Hurricane in the likes of "Sandy "have seen destruction and lives that will never be the same once again . Some have just witnessed this and for whatever reason escaped with little or no damage to personal property and no loved ones lives were taken from you . The emotions ranged from constant worry ,anxiety , fear , and anxiousness to name a few. Were any of us calm as this storm and others like this have come to interupt our lives suddenly ? Matthew 8 :23 tells us how Jesus calmed the storm when without warning it came upon the disciples up on the lake . I wonder how many of us were sleeping like Jesus was before the disciples went and woke him , saying "Lord , save us ! We 're going to drown ! " He replied , " You of little faith , why are you so afraid ? " Is our eyes still fixed on the one that can calm all storms ? Is not God aware of what happens in our lives ? Everything that happens is not a suprise to the God that allows everything in our lives for a purpose . Tonight (Thursday Night) @ 7:30 -8:30 PM on Christianity 101 with hosts Nikki Barnabie Watson and John Fougeray we discuss the aftermath of probably the biggest storms to hit the eastern shores in our lifetimes...." Hurricane Sandy " and get a Biblical perspective on this historical and life changing event in most of our remaining lives.
