Determined to make a career out of her passion for fashion and style, Kissa began her journey at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC where she got her feet wet in a myriad of fashion industries, ranging from popular urban brands to high end luxury lifestyle brands. Kissa has since spread her vibrancy and talent through relative companies and media outlets such as Def Jam Records, SPIN magazine, Black Entertainment Television, Fox 5 News. She has been Assistant Director, and Director of various shorts and music videos.  One of  Buttafly Unltd's most recognize design is the "I Love My Hair" tee.  You might have seen this popular t-shirt in magazines, on tv, film, webisodes and celebrities like Alicia Keys to name a few.  Kissa Starr also have a I Love My Hair section featured in the quarterly issue MHE (My Hair Experience). Since moving to LA a year ago, her passion to inspire people to celebrate themselves from the inside out has lead her to becoming a Health & Wellness Coach and Co-Founder of Get Fit Crew.  Her goal is to strive to be the best version of herself everyday and inspire as many people along the way to do the same.
