There are many people today who are living under bondage that the sins of their forefathers has brought them under. But sometimes curses may not have their origin in previous generations. They may be the result of deeds or events in your own lifetime. Or it may be that a curse from previous generations has bee compounded by things you yourself have done. Wherever the source of your problem, however, one things is certain: You are struggling with something that you can neither identify or understand. Exodus 34:5-7....  Then the Lord came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and he called out his own name, Yahweh.  The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.  I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations.”

Some people dismiss these truths because they are, for the most part for the Old Testament. Some pastors teach that they do not apply today, but these are biblical principles or laws set into effect by Jehovah God. Jesus did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. He actually broadened it and made it spiritual as well as physical.
