We had a great weekend in Baltimore, MD!    

Friday night, we went down to the Velvet Rope Night Club at 200 E. Redwood St, Baltimore, MD.  They have a great Happy Hour with Live Entertainment and Buffet for only $5!   We have to give a big birthday shout out to Wendell, one of the owner's,  he was celebrating his birthday in the VIP area.  This is a beautiful club and has many great live performances.  My girl, Lynee' Michelle ripped the show later that evening.

Saturday, was "A Love Affair" at 5 Seasons!



This was part 2 of the series by Lynee' Michelle.  The first was on Valentine's Day 2009.  The evening featured many talented artists, including Yours Truly, Shani, The Sultry Songbird.  I performed "Hot Chocolate Brother",  "Close To Me" and debuted "Sunshine".  You can listen to  these songs and download "Hot Chocolate Brother" for free at www.reverbnation.com/SultrySongbird .  Maceo was nice!  We're gonna work on getting him on the show soon.  Lord of P.G. and his crew rocked, "Do the Michael Jackson".  It was crazy!

Sunday, we were at the cd release party of "The Contractions" by Cassia. 


The event was presented by "The Believer's Bash".  Gospel hip hop artist, Von Vargas hosted the event, which featured gospel comedians,  Maya and Will Lindsay.  The sister and brother comedy duo entertained the crowd and Cassia delivered her poetry with purpose.  Her performance of "Singled Out" featuring The Apostle could easily become a single Christian woman's anthem.  Genesis of Fashion showcased Cassia's other passion, fashion.  Models wore fashions designed by Cassia's fashion line, Designs by Kezia.  They were beautiful!!!!  The event was filmed by Urban Artz Spotlite, so I will definitely let you know when footage is available and will post clips here.  Special shout out to Brooke and T. Price, who won a signed copy of "The Contractions" while listening to show.  Thanks to Mr. Shivers, Manager of The Belevedere, located at 1 E.
