I just checked, and "Ruth Lyons 50-50 Club" originated on WLWT-TV Channel 5 in Cincinnati, and also aired in Dayton, Columbus, Newport KY, and Indianapolis. Check her out on YouTube.

You remind me of Ruth Lyons, who did a show like yours on WLW-TV in Cincinnati for seventeen years and founded a children's charity, The Ruth Lyons Christmas Fund, which is still going strong thirty years after she passed.
