Bullying in schools is not new, but in the last 20 years it has increased in frequency and intensity. According to a survey in 2010 by Michael Josephson from the Josephson Institute of Ethics in Los Angeles, more than 50% of high schoolers have been bullied or bullied someone. Bullying has moved from using fists to using a gun or character assasination in cyber bullying. Many celebrities disclose that they were bullied when they were in school. Join me and my guest, Vicki Abadesco, director and cofounder of Soul Shoppe, a widely acclaimed educational program that teaches life skills, bullying prevention and character education. She will share three ways to prevent and handle bullying.
