Stress and its impact are examined using sound biblical teaching. In addition to finding ways to cope, you will learn how people react to stress and the many faces it wears. We will discuss how addictions intensify the reactions to stress and how religion, love, anger, fear, blaming, unforgiveness and imitating all contribute to stress. Most important you will learn how God’s love helps reduce stress and how to use God’s gifts to overcome its multiple levels. Join me as I interview my guest, Dr. Steven Haymon, a psychotherapist for over thirty-five years and author of Stress: Climbing Out of Its Pits with God. He has a thriving practice where he specializes in working with mood disorders, family therapy, marital therapy, adults, children, victimization issues, as well as substance and alcohol abuse. His Christian-based approach corroborates his clinical experiences. He has performed lectures, trainings and workshops at churches and businesses across the country.
