Things That Can Become Distractions to Building A Healthy and Successful Relationship

Have you ever experience moments when you sat around and imagined yourself being in a loving, caring, and committed romantic relationship? Now I want you to understand that its perfectly healthy and normal for one to imagine having and experiencing the best that life has to offer, especially when it comes to a partner or spouse. It’s also OK and normal to think and imagine those things if you’re a Christian. After all, the bible does declare that He (being the Son of God) came that each of us would have a life that’s full of the best that the human life experience has to offer. But can that same promise relate to relationships as well? Now go with me for a moment. God has, is, and always will be divinely concerned about the relationships that we get involved in and how they effect us. Now relationships can be platonic, social, business, or romantically related. However, God is just as concerned not only by the relationships themselves, but also by our behavior patterns; both of which can hinder us from developing and maintaining healthy and successful relationships.

Things That Make You Wonder "What's Really Going On?"

Have you read or heard something that made you go "huh?" Each of us have experience things like that. Recently I read this, "Voting yes on proposition 8 is a good move for California and the rest of the United States. If proposition 8 were to fail, we would have to change how to educate children on how they came into the world. We would have to change the laws on divorce to exclude adultery and behavior as grounds for divorce. We would have to change the teachings of the boy scouts of America and our religious freedom. We would have to change the matrimonial acts." California's black and Latino voters, who turned out in droves for Barack Obama, also provided key support in favor of the state's same-sex marriage ban. Seven in 10 black voters backed a successful ballot measure to overturn the California Supreme Court's May decision allowing same-sex marriage, according to exit polls for The Associated Press. "Change? Nope. You have a nation full of bigots, racists, and all kinds of awful people. I cried tears of JOY when Obama won... But I cant understand how BLACKS of all people... are by a large margin, the most prejudice against gay marriage. Its awful. Everyone is just doing what their buddies tell them to do. Really, I could go on and on about why the passing of Prop 8 is bad news... but id go blue in the face. I Shouldnt even have to explain myself... this is been LARGELY a battle of religion, the separation of church and state is FORGOTTEN." THIS QUESTION IS FOR YOU: "If there was a tie and your vote was the decision maker for the outcome of Proposition 8, which way would you vote? Would you vote in favor of proposition 8 or would you vote against it? And why would you vote that way?

6 = 231 Can You Figure Out the Formula?

Please somebody tell me I'm not dead, I'm not under the influence of egg nod, I'm not having one of those out of body experiences, I'm not in a coma in ICU, I'm not having one of those Martin Luther King Jr. dreams, and I'm loosing it..." Will somebody please tell me if I'm in my right mind. If so, did anybody remember to send Dr. Martin Luther King Jr a text message letting him know that the White House kitchen might be serving Collard Greens, Pot Roast, Macaroni and Cheese and Jiffy corn bread for Sunday dinners for the next four years..."
