Hi Listeners,This is Enigma Sept. I've decided to write a blog after each show. I hope to be able to do a rundown about the show, maybe give some insights about what's happening behind the scenes.First, duck. In a jovial exchange between myself and Yung Lyrik, he called me a 'duck'. That was funny. I think I will have to use that (no copywrite). LOLSecond, we definitely hit on the Bernie Mac situation. May he forever rest in peace. Prayers go out to his family and friends. I find it odd that he was in a movie about the first black president and he won't be able to see it come into fruition. Third, we introduced two new songs from the Nettwerk camp. The first song was "The Way You Move" by Yung Lyrik featuring Raven October. The second song was "Can't Leave Rap Alone" by Flamilia. YL's track got a lot of good feedback. One of the listeners even called in to tell us how much she liked the song. Lastly, we discussed the article about the Florida rapper Plies' questionable past on hiphopdx.com. Though rappers need to wake up and be real with their fans, something about the artlice seemed fishy. It read more like a hit job than news reporting. I also bought up the fact that this is the third entertainer to be called out in the past four months (Akon, Rick Ross, now Plies). Time will tell.Again, thanks to all the listeners, chatters and callers for participating in the Fiyah Show. We are definitely trying to make it more interactive. There was calls for us to get the web cam working again. We will look into that. Thanks againSigning off,Enigma Sept.www.soundclick.com/flamiliawww.myspace.com/flamilia
