Today's modern black youth gang are products of social and parental neglect with Afrikan warrior overtones of self expression. This is easily seen through the talent that comes from the urban youth through the form of rap, pop locking and break dance which are modern day Afrikan art forms of expression just as the ancient Afrikan warrior did long ago. So I raise the question are they "black youth gangs" really street thugs or are they really just mislead fatherless Afrikan warriors? Many of the civil rights leaders of the sixties in their youth were apart of gangs or clubs, leaders like Bunchy Carter and Malcolm-X who later found their calling as Afrikan leaders of the black community.
