We will be discussing the Pros and Cons of the Residential School Settlement with someone who has worked on many cases.

The Canadian Indian residential school system was intended to assimilate the children of the Aboriginal peoples of Canada into European-Canadian society. The purpose of the schools, which separated children from their families, has also been described as cultural genocide or "killing the Indian in the child."

Our guest is Frank Busch. He is a university educated Aboriginal businessperson/entrepreneur. He hails from a remote First Nation in Northern Manitoba, but has spent the greater part of his life living in Winnipeg, MB. He is a practitioner of the Traditional Aboriginal Spirituality. He currently works for Alghoul and Associates Law Firm as a Senior Manager in the Residential School Settlement Litigation. In this post and in his previous occupations, he has travelled to 56 of the 62 First Nations in Manitoba. Nationwide, he has visited approximately 200 First Nations and Metis communities.
