Anthony Kastros and Ed Hadfield talk about fire command, strategy, tactics and review fires with incident commanders from throughout the country.

Anthony (Andoni) Kastros has 25 years in the fire service and is a Battalion Chief with Sacramento Metro Fire District, currently assigned to Battalion 7, supervising 12 companies.  He is author of the Fire Engineering book and video series, Mastering the Fire Service Assessment Center The curriculum covers an extremely comprehensive scope of the knowledge, skills and abilities that span the dimensions of leadership, management, and emergency operations.  Just launched is the new 3-part DVD series from Fire Engineering, Mastering Fireground Command - Calm the Chaos!  This series focuses on fireground strategy, tactics and ICS using actual incidents, video and simulations.  The 3-DVD series covers fires in houses, multi-occupancies, apartments, and commercial buildings.

Ed Hadfield, has over 26 years of fire service experience, rising through the ranks from Firefighter to Division Chief. He is a frequent speaker on leadership, sharing his experiences within the fire service and also with corporate and civic leaders throughout the United States.

Ed was named the 2004 California Training Officer of the Year. He is regularly recognized in Firehouse magazine, The Orange County Firefighter magazine, California Fire Service magazine, and Firehouse.com's on-line training programs. He has written numerous articles about Truck Company Operations, Company Officer Leadership, and Succession Development; and he has developed web cast and pod cast on-line training programs which reach firefighters around the world.
