"What's so stressful about being Gay?" Our meaningful Straight brothers and sisters may ask. For starters through no fault of our own there are a lot of fearful, scary, hateful, angry, homophobic people out there walking the streets with nothing better to do then try and make our lives miserable. it's like a full-time job to them. Personally I don't want to bump into any of "them" in any dark alley under any circumstance. But, I do all the time and so do you.

Unfortunately stress is not a spigot you can turn on or off when you've grown tired of your negative feelings and sleepless nights. Stress is an undercurrent, a blanket term to describe the many things that keep you up late at night tossing and turning and having imaginary conversations with snappy comebacks if only the moment could present itself again. How clever we are at 3 in the morning lying awake repeating and practicing our "I'll show you fill in the blank" comeback.

So, how do we deal with stress and still become one with peace and love for everyone?
