Every week, Scott Davis and Austin Kennedy check out the latest, but not always the greatest films in the multiplexes. Everything from the biggest blockbusters, to the smallest indie films to the latest foreign films. Scott and Austin are film geeks by birth, keeping a critical eye on things, but bringing a lot of humor and energy to the proceedings as well. They don't always agree, but it's always entertaining.

  First and foremost, just take a gander at that new logo. Isn't it beautiful? I've seen newborn children that aren't as beautiful as our new logo. It was designed by our good friend, John Mazurek and he did a great job. Thanks, John!
  
  
  
  Now, let's get down to business. This weekend, every film geek in the country will be talking about STAR TREK and we'll join them with out unique take on J.J. Abrams' anticipated reboot of the classic franchise. Also on the show: Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner each add another romantic comedy to their roster with GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST, Harrison Ford is part on an ensemble cast in CROSSING OVER, a heavy metal band keeps struggling after nearly thirty years in ANVIL: THE STORY OF ANVIL and Thomas Jane pauses long enough in between killing aliens to write THE MUTANT CHRONICLES. Also, Austin will take a solo look at BATTLE FOR TERRA.
  
  The show will be on one hour later today due to Mother's Day. So, we'll be on Sunday at 9PM Eastern/8PM Central.
