This Tuesday night (April 10, 2012) on Big Dog Radio, we will welcome the former Rusk County Sheriff Cecil West. West is coming out of retirement in a bid to regain his former position as Rusk County Sheriff. Host, The Big Dog Benny Henderson Jr. will give the voters in the Rusk county area a chance to hear what West has to say and get to know the candidate more on a personal, as well as a political level. Known facts about our candidate for Sheriff. Cecil West has 35 years of experience with the public and law enforcement, he served as Rusk County Sheriff from 1988 through 1996. Served seven years with the Henderson Police Department, as well as two years with Henderson Fire Department. West was Special U.S. Deputy Marshal for six years, served three years as Chief Deputy for Pct.3 Smith County, and has a Master Peace Officers License with Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Big Dog Radio believes that with his Experience as Sheriff and his Diversity in Public Service Best Qualifies him as your Next Sheriff of Rusk County. You cannot have a voice if you do not vote.
