Second in the "War On The People" series at RFK, original aired March 24, 2012 with "War on Education."

We'll continue the conversation in the first hour with Mark Desetti, Kansas National Education Association (KNEA) about the attacks on our public schools and he will cite the number of dollars, name some of the Brownback inspired state legislators leading the charge against public schools and the powerful backers behind them.

During the second hour begins our "War on the Voters" episode with Louis Gostland, Sunflower Community Action and the KanVote coalition. He will describe what he discovered about Secretary of State Kris Kobach's "business" activities while sitting in the Topeka taxpayer's office. Also during the second hour listen to short audio clips of last Wednesday's rally against "Vote Suppression" lead by the Rev. Ben Scott of the NAACP.  You will hear some of the voices of the five brave state senators who attended.

Listeners can read my latest send-up to Kansas news makers at Discomfit Magazine, "William Allen White Would Puke."

Backgrounder reading reference for the "War on the People" series Annie Gowen's "Kansas: What the Tea Party Looks Like" which originally appeared at her working paper, the Washington Post.
