We have waited 6 months, and FINALLY NFL football has returned beginning tonight . . . well, at least, pre-season football is here with the Hall-of-Fame Game, and that headlines the conversation on tonight’s Frat House Sports Show.

Oddly, two uniquely tragic characters who aren’t even IN sports seemed to dominate the sports news this past week. 1) Pete Rose presented the Philadelphia Phillies with a difficult moral dilemma following some long-time new salacious revelations. David Weinberg of The Press of Atlantic City joins us to fill us in on the fine details of the controversy.

2) Colin Kaepernick continues to seep into our moral and political consciousness as rumors swarmed that NFL owners have blackballed him from advancing his career. It might seem that there’s growing evidence of a conspiracy.

Plus, Steve Bartman gets a Cubs Championship ring; I’m getting tired of Jon Gruden toying with us; last week it was a damning CTE report, this week MLS announces expansion – coincidence?; a look-ahead to the Michigan Wolverines and a tribute to Coach Ara Parseghian . . . oh, and the best part; we’re joined for the entire program by special guest host Chris Davis of FTSports Podcast.

You do not want to miss even a minute of tonight’s 307th Off-Season show . . . and perhaps even call-in to the guys (Frat House Mike, Sidekick, Matt, and special guest host Chris) at 347 – 826 – 9964. Be sure to be listening to The Frat House Sports Show LIVE at 7 p.m. ET
