Walk this way...more often. Show recap

Gym manager, Maurice Gatson shares information about health clubs and gyms. What to look for before  you sign-up. You can contact Mr. Gatson at mauricegatson@bellsouth.net.

Walk this way...more often. How many steps should you take to stay fit. Most studies say 10,000 steps a day. That equals 4-5 miles. Next week I will cover the benefits of walking and how you can reach your 10,000 steps goal.

    Some benefits of walking include:
    • Managing your weight
    • Controlling your blood pressure
    • Decreasing your risk of heart attack
    • Help constipation
    • Help impotence
    • Prevent depression
To see a complete list and details go to aarp.org. Search "walking."
