In the Vistula Historic District

It’s time again for an evening of wine, food, fun, and friendship!

You won’t want to miss the next Goddess Night Out, a very special evening that brings together women from all walks of life to build a supportive community among women and at the same time showcases our very own Vistula Historic District, an often overlooked gem just north of downtown The next Goddess Night Out is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8,
from 5 to 7 pm — and it’s absolutely FREE!

Tera Johnson is our sponsor this month. Her business is Fertile Groundz, a social, personal and business development division of Urban Images. One of her crafty implements is a live internet radio talk show .With open chat rooms, that are always open for discussion of current events, politics , business , love , and life. As a special treat Tera will host a live remote broadcast at our next Goddess Night Out. Listeners can log in at www.blogtalkradio.com/fertilegroundzor call in with their thoughts and comments at 646-595-2716.

Our location this month is the historic home of Sue Burkett and Stu Cline at 329 Chestnut Street. Known as the Raymond-Ketchum House, it was built in 1851 by William Raymond, a flour and lumber merchant, who sold the home five years later to Valentine Ketchum, a founding father of Toledo who was president of First National Bank and Toledo’s first millionaire. Originally built in the Italianate style, the home was transformed in 1887 by local architect E. O. Fallis into a model of late Victorian style.   .
