    New Features

I love it when things develop. I don't always enjoy the learning that development requires! But this time it is really cool.

BTR has changed some things about the user interface and added some features.  Now it is easier than ever for us to communicate. I am not going to explain it here. Just go to the Learning Center. and get all the info. Especially note about iTunes and the RSS feed.

You can do this yourself. Set up a BTR station for outreach from your church. It isn't hard. List a bunch of program ideas. It isn't hard. Book a bunch of guests to call in. It isn't hard. Get about 10 questions you can agree upon with each guest. It isn't hard. Set up your program descriptions a month in advance. It isn't hard.

Register a domain name at GoDaddy.com or get your church webmaster to give you a page from which you can redirect people to your BTR program. OK. So that isn't hard but it is a little more challenging. Print off some free business cards at Vista Print but make them reference your radio program. It isn't hard.

The only thing you need to add is an intro piece for the show. You can do that or someone with basic computer skills can help you create the mp3 you need for that. It isn't hard ... when you know how.

Now spread those cards around. Get the people in your church to invite their friends to listen in. More people will catch the archives than will catch the programs live. What a great way for you to explain yourself to your community. You want to be sure you don't make this an insider's discussion for those already familiar with your church. Remember, what you say is out there on the Internet.

You might be wondering if you have what it takes to be a "talk show host". You do. You just might not know it yet.

Did I mention that this isn't hard?
