Are You FederallyReady? (Information for Government Sector Businesses)  

So you've entered the Government Sector to do business with Global One.

You started doing market research, joined your local AFCEA chapter, and are making the rounds at the agencies you've determined are where your services/products best fit. You begin to notice that in some of the conversations you're having, folks from Government and Industry keep referring to a "clearance" and you're not sure what that is.

Next Monday we welcome Industrial Security expert Roxane Graham who will spell out what a clearance is,  who is eligible to receive one, what is needed to get started and the difference between a facility security clearance, personnel security clearance, SCIF and more.

We'll also be joined by Kathy L. Dillaman, the Associate Director of Investigations for U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Federal Investigative Services Division (FISD).

OPM's Federal Investigative Services Division is the Federal Government's largest provider of background investigations and services, supporting over 90 Federal agencies' personnel security programs.

We also plan to talk with officials at the Defense Security Service at a later date and invite them to discuss their role in administering the National Industrial Security Program.
