Sam Brown is the author of Peoples Paranormal and also joins her husband Gary on a new Paranormal Radio Show UK Paranormal Network Radio. I have worked with families for as long as I remember, worked in every single School in my area, held various positions within Childrens Services, taught and trained many talented youngsters, written support packages, training packages, behavioural management plans. I recently became ill with a lifelong condition that has changed my lifestyle. Rather than admit defeat and stay stuck in my wheelchair I have just altered things slightly to suit my abilities. After so many years of supporting others it was a rather daunting task turning the tables on myself. I used to love ghost hunting. I loved the thrill of searching for the unknown, the excitement when something happened that could not be explained by modern science. I loved the expressions on people’s faces when the lights went out and the torch highlighted the anticipation in their eyes. I loved seeing their curiosity and watching them overcome their fears of the dark, of the noises when the building began to settle, of the shadows created by the soft lights. I was a paranormal investigator. I have worked for events companies, I have carried out private investigations, I have run my own company that combined both public events and private investigations offering support and eduction. As a child I experienced many 'strange' things. I saw a witch, laugh if you must but aged six and seeing a cackling witch on a broomstick as I put out the milk bottles turned me into a completely paranoid child, afraid of the dark, afraid of ghosts and goblins and demons and all other manner of story book monsters. Aged ten I wrote a short ‘horror’ story and it was published by a visiting author to our school. At that point I vowed to read and learn as much as I could so I would no longer be scared!
