Unique Events by Thelma Nichols

Unique Events by T. Nichols will be hosting its Second Annual Wedding & Event Showcase  on Sunday, March 8th from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Ponchatoula  Community Center, 300 N. 5th Street, Ponchatoula, LA  70454.  There will be a $5 admission charge.

Unique Events is the vision of Thelma Nichols.  Her son, David Badon, Jr., is her partner and is a vital part of this business.  David says that cooking has always been a staple in his life ever since he was a little boy.  He would cook and create dishes and use his younger siblings as his taste testers.  His love for food is an honest one that dates back to his great grandmothers, who were not only great cooks but great businesswomen.  He states, “The business of food has touched every generation in my family from cafés to sweet shops and now catering. I am proud to take on the reigns with my mother and make your event one that is conversational and evokes emotion.”
