The Power of One

The written word moves us all in a way that not much else can. We all have a passion about something, and want to help in whatever way we can as well, as that is humanity's way. Tonights show premise will not be about random readings though. A challenge if you will. I want you to bring me an original piece that you've wrote. And the topic is this: SURVIVORS! A poem, wether dark, light hearted about survivors of child abuse, rapes or that of domestic disturbance. All forms of misconduct are one to many. All to often in todays news, more light is shed on the abuser and not those who are victimized, and survive. So, please. Share this, link this. Let's let those who live in the shadows, know that they are not alone. They have a voice and they will be heard.
