The 2011 USA Indoor 400m Champion and 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist from the Women's 4 x 400m relay team joins the program to discuss her 2011 dominant indoor season and her plans for the forth coming World Championships and 2012 Olympics. In discussing her story, the native New Yorker recalls the dedicated process of traveling from Queens to Harlem everyday for four years to become one of the nation's top prospects in route to the University on South Carolina where now as a pro she is once again under the tutelage of Coach Curtis Frye. The 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist candidly discusses her training, her diet, the sport, her mother's support and . . . possibly her new hairstyle for 2011. Listen to this great interview that which is equally educational and inspirational for the up and coming track athlete. Oh and you will laugh!
