Join Alan Zlotorzynski and Stephen Shoup today at 1:00 p.m. for the Fanspeak College Football Show.

Last week, the guys broke down the Big 10 team-by-team and today, will do the same for the mighty SEC. Last season, the nation’s top conference won its seventh consecutive BCS Championship, as Alabama dismantled Notre Dame in the title game.

The conference also won the Heisman Trophy for the fourth time in the past six seasons when Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel became the first freshman ever to win college football’s most prestigious individual award.

If that’s not enough to impress you then consider the NFL Draft. This past April, Of the 254 selections, about one quarter (63), were drafted out of SEC schools. That’s 8 more picks than any other conference in a single draft ever. It was the seventh straight draft the SEC has led all conferences in players selected.

Alan and Steve will break down the nation’s best conference and tell you which two should be standing in Atlanta on the first Saturday in December. Will Alabama make history with a third consecutive BCS Title or will Aaron Murray and the Georgia Bulldogs finally roll the Tide when it matters. In addition, can Johnny Football win his second straight Heisman----Or will South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney become the first true defensive player to capture the award?

You cannot sleep on The Ol Ball Coach and his Gamecocks or Les Miles and his Tigers. Alan & Steve will also have the preseason All-Conference teams. The guys will also have their take on the drama from SEC media day as well as the best clips from that afternoon.
