Two hours before the puck drops at Verizon Center tonight, Join Capitals guru and show host Alan Zlotorzynski, as he brings you Capitals Corner / The NHL Show Pre-Game Edition.

Alan will have all of the media notes, facts and stats, as well as a breakdown of tonight’s Southeast Division battle as the Caps get set to clash with the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Big Phone Booth in downtown D.C.

Starting with a 4-3 win in South Florida last Saturday night, the Capitals are coming off another stellar week of hockey of must win hockey in which the Caps posted a perfect 4-0-0 mark. Alan will revisit each contest and have every Caps goal as called by John Walton on the Caps Radio Network.

Walton has been able to proclaim, “Good Morning, Good afternoon and Good night” in 10 of the Caps previous 12 games and because of that, Washington is now solidly in control of their own playoff destiny as they are first place in the Southeast Division. With 46 points, the Caps own a two point lead as well as a game in hand on the Winnipeg Jets,

Alan will compare the schedule of each team down the stretch as well as take a look at and breakdown potential first round playoff opponents for the Capitals.

Tiger Woods is not the only player who was once considered the best player in his sport to officially return to greatness this season. With 16-golas in his last 14 games and 26 total on the year, Ovie is the NHL co-goal scoring leader and like Tiger, is officially back. Tonight he faces his partner in the goal scoring race as Steven Stamkos, also with 26-goals this season, visits

Capitals Corner will also look back at the week that was in the NHL and finish the show with Fanspeak.com NHL Top 10 Power Poll. Showtime is 5:00 p.m. and will run up until the puck drops at 7.
