Join host Alan "Z" from 8-10 pm est. for a very special Thursday night show.  During the 9:00 hour, and back by popular demand, Steve Shoup of Fanspeak.com will once again join The I-295 Sports Report. Steve and Alan will finish the NFL preview from Tuesday's show and field a call or two about how your team will compete during the 2012 season.

Alan will have any last minute news, and audio clips concerning the Ravens and Redskins

Alan will start the show with Orioles and Nationals news. The Birds dropped a tough 6-4 decision in Toronto last night and the Nats continued their winning ways by trouncing the Cubs 9-1.

As the Yankees and TB Rays head to the Yard this weekend and early next week, Alan will get you set for the O's biggest homestand in 15 years.

Alan will also tell you if there have been any last minute changes in "Operation Shutdown Strasburg". The Nats ace will toss his next to last game of the season on Fri at home.

From there it is on to college football as Alan recaps week one and previews week two of the young season. The MD Terps are a weak 1-0 and Alan will tell you if head coach Randy Edsall has his squad prepared to avenge one of the programs most embarrassing defeats in school history. Maryland travels to Philadelphia to play the Temple Owls, who defeated Maryland 38-7 at College Park last September.

Not to be outdone by the AP, or The USA Today/ESPN polls, Alan will unveil his own top 10 college football rankings. This poll has no bias towards preseason rankings. Rankings are gathered based on a team’s current play as well as other factors, which Alan will explain.
