Tonight's show is a very special episode. Join show host Alan Zlotorzynski at 8:00 p.m., as he welcomes Joe Unitas, the son of legendary Baltimore Colts QB Johnny Unitas.
Joe will answer questions and discuss the upcoming project, Unitas We Stand. Recently, New Orleans based Ghost Rider Pictures announced the development of a biopic film of former Baltimore Colts QB, which is based on the 2006 biography “Johnny U: The Life and Times of Johnny Unitas” by Tom Callahan.
Joe Unitas will also tell us how we can become involved in supporting its development. Alan will also ask Joe about his father’s legendary career.
Alan will also recap the week in sports, including today’s released report released by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, that indicates the massive cover up at Penn State dating back 10-years.
Z-Best Sports Talk will look back at Tuesday’s Mid Summer’s Classic that wasn’t so classic, and look ahead to the second half of the MLB season. Alan will also hand out the first half awards and make his World Series predictions.
Alan recaps free agency in the NBA, and NHL this off-season. In the wake of Laker star Kobe Bryant saying this year’s US Olympic team could have beaten the 1992 Dream Team, Alan and Whiz Kid Hastings Kofkin will debate whether any U.S. Men’s Olympic Basketball team could have beaten the '92 Dream Team.
Alan will also hand out the Dumb Ass of the Week Award. Mr. October, JJ Almendinger, and Fred Freeman (who) are all excellent candidates.
