  • "UNEMPLOYED and STILL TITHING!"

    in Family

Tithing is a dead concept that has been kept on "Life Support" by the biblically illiterate!
I can't just blame it on the greedy Pastors anymore, we gotta call a spade a spade.
It is the "people" the "CHUCH" that are IGNORANT!
How can you be UNEMPLOYED and still TITHING! Just think about it, giving away your money to get extra money! It is downright stupid!

  • WOI: Familius Author Michael Byron Smith Talks About Dadhood

    in Dads and Family

Welcome to BTR's World of Ink Network. On today's special Families Matter show, Michael Byron Smith will be talking to our hosts and listeners about dadhood. The show will air live June 17th at 4pm Eastern - 3pm Central - 2pm Mountain - 1pm Pacific
Michael Byron Smith is the author of The Power of Dadhood: A Better Society Starts with Dad, which released April 2015. This book encourages men to father with the knowledge that they are vitally important to the futures of their children. National speaker and blogger Michael Byron Smith discusses the implications of a fatherless home, the challenges of parenting, and the hierarchy of fathers.
Michael's blog  "Helping Fathers to be Dads" is for men who need encouragement and/or advice on being a Dad. My inspiration for the blog is my childhood and two generations since that have lacked good fathering experiences. Almost half of my nieces and nephews and their children struggle with things like poor education, out-of wedlock births, financial issues, and bad decision making. Almost everyone of them either did not have an involved father or the father seriously lacked effective parenting skills.
About WOI: For several years running, the World Of Ink Network has endeavored to create radio shows geared toward excellence in the reading/publishing community. To date, we offer mulitple shows on our network monthly.

  • "SPIRITUAL FATHERS are Replacing HUSBANDS & Destroying FAMILIES!"

    in Dads and Family

The Myth of Spiritual Fathers is a pervasive problem throughout the Body of Christ!
Their is only ONE Spiritual Father and that is the Lord God!
All others are counterfeits and impostors!
Brothers and sisters don't be duped and conned by these silver tongued devils promoting themselves as your Fathers!
We gonna go hard in the paint today on this subject!

About Family

Like the TV show, modern families come in all shapes and sizes. Many children are a product of divorce, are in touch with both their biological and adopted parents, have two moms or two dads (or both), or are being raised by their grandparents. No matter how atypical the face of today's family, the values stay the same: love and support. Moms and dads will find plenty of support in BlogTalkRadio's parenting shows, especially those about time-management topics that fit both stay-at-home and working parents: organizing kids' activity schedules, decluttering, reducing the workweek, managing stress, making quick meals and more. We've also got shows about friendship – you know, your family of choice rather than family of origin. Just remember: everyone's family seems dysfunctional in its own way. And family may irritate you, but more often than not, you can always count on family to pick you up from the airport.
