Today I want to share some stories with you that drive home the point that I think we all know, or many of us know already.  The message of the bible and of Christianity is unfortunately offensive to many.  I want to try to touch on 3 or 4 stories today that show this.  Some of these are stories from abroad and some are stories right here in the United States.  In one case, the cross seemed to be a very real symbol of offense to a crowd in Egypt, and it literally cost a young woman her life.  In Britain, the case itself occurred a couple of years ago or so, but I'll share some of the details of a street preacher who was imprisoned because a couple of gay people did not like his response to them when they asked him a question regarding homosexuality.  There are also a couple of sad and out and out ridiculous stories here at home in which one 5 year old girl was allegedly made to stop praying over her lunch by a monitor and in which a college student was told to stop talking about God on the university's quad because it might offend some and he didn't have permission to speak as he did.  It's an interesting world we live in and interesting times we live in- all while of course Obamacare's birth control mandate is still being argued in our Supreme Court.  But that's the subject today, so tune in at 4:30 or listen on the archives to catch it.
