Welcome to A Journey Through Faith! I pray that you will find this blog very inspirational and motivational. The purpose of this blog is to share my own personal and real life experiences with God to others with the use of Biblically based solutions. It is my desire to share with you my own personal experiences involving a difficult marriage, domestic violence and domestic abuse (emotional, physical, spiritual, financial, mental and verbal), abandonment, parenthood, adult child and parent issues, rejection, and other ordinary life experiences that we all run into in one way or another here on earth. My goal is to minister to those in need from all walks of life. I want to help others become restored and made whole again by renewing their faith in God. The tools that I use to minister to others is through songs of praise in words of psalms, poems, columns, personal testimonies, devotions, prayers and scriptures. I am hoping that by sharing my life as an open book, in some way it will inspire everyone to reach for a higher, deeper and more intimate relationship with our Almighty God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I want all of you to walk by faith and not by sight! (2 Corinthians 5:7) I want every believer to wear the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) without fear and walk boldly in the knowledge of who they are in Christ! We are children of the most High God and because we are His children, He wants a relationship with us. Contrary to what other faiths and religions preach, He is not harsh, contradicting, or passive. Society (television, talk shows, celebrities, etc.) have painted a very poor picture of who Jehovah really is. They are not giving a true account of His character. About Minister Faith From my own personal struggles with life, I discovered the power of living victoriously through Christ by applying God’s Word to my life and desires to help others through my writing. I believe in writing ope

Background
Faith is the key to unlocking the promises of God. As Christians we should review the promises of God and study the Holy Word daily. This enables every believer to walk in peace knowing that God is in control.
Scriptures
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. – Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
For I say, through the grace given tome, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. – Romans 12:3 (NKJV)
But without a faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. – Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. – Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them, but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. – Hebrews 4:2 (NKJV)
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” – Romans 1:17 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” – Mark 9:23 (NKJV)
Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” – Matthew 9:29 (NKJV)
For we walk by faith, not by sight. – 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)
…that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. – Hebrews 6:12 (NKJV)
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your fiath without your works, and I will show you my faith by my wordks. – James 2:17,18 (NKJV)
By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command. – Hebrews 10:23

I had received a bill from Eastern Michigan University in August 2005 stating that I had owed for the last few weeks when I was living in on-campus housing. I was confused because I did not know what they were speaking of and I didn’t have the money to pay. After several weeks of going back and forth to straighten everything out to no avail I finally decided to work on some kind of payment plan.
After arriving on campus and struggling to get my oldest daughter out of the car seat, I walked into the university housing building to discuss the details with the housing manager. After pulling up my record and looking things over quizzically, he lifted his head and said, “I can’t locate any bill on your account. It looks like they removed the debt! Aren’t you lucky!”
All I can say is God is good all the time! Although He allows us all to go through the storm, the battles have been fought for us in advanced!

God still sends His angels to encamp around us! He is mighty and His word is truth!
